2012 Social Investment Pioneer Awards


The inaugural Social Investment Pioneer Awards ceremony was held 28 November 2012, at the Centre for the Moving Image, Federation Square, Melbourne. The ceremony was attended by 140 delegates, and featured a keynote address by Paul Hardy, CEO, Aurecon, a facilitated Q & A with Simon Longstaff, and the announcement of the Award winners.

  • Unilever, Indonesia

Social Business: recognising non-loss, non-dividend cause driven enterprises purposefully created to address broad community development priorities

  • SMEFUNDS, Nigeria
  • BBVA Microfinance Foundation, Spain

Strategic Corporate Philanthropy: recognising companies that align core business capabilities and commercial objectives with philanthropic intentions

  • Slightly Different, UK
  • Ferrovial, Spain
